Lori! Happy to have you on the cover FHM! Tell us what are some of the things you did to prepare for this shoot? I went on an eight-week diet, which was very strict. I was eating every two to three hours. My diet consisted of protein, vegetables and complex carbs. It was specifically for muscle building, definition and to tighten up my body to photoshoot level. No cheating whatsoever. I also increased my workouts, and the level of intensity.

You’ve got an amazing figure and beauty about you, we’re keen to know what you would say is your favorite physical feature about yourself and why? Thank you so much for this amazing compliment. My favorite physical feature about myself would be my booty. Everybody calls me the BOOTY QUEEN or the BOOTY MASTER and all my gym clients come to see me to train and build their booties. As a trainer, I really mastered building women’s glutes by working it out in various, different ways. The glute is a large muscle, which means it needs to be worked out more than just squats and lunges. So I pretty much mastered it myself and now I share those routine experiences in helping other women as well. Booty is definitely my favorite feature and most worked out muscle on my body!

Being a glamorous model must have its perks, what are some of your most memorable experiences in your career? The most memorable experience in my career was becoming Mrs. Connecticut America. Also being a celebrity star on Bravo TV Game of Crowns for a whole season and really enjoying it and all the perks that Bravo TV allowed us to do. For example, going to Entertainment Tonight, to Hollywood Access, and Red Carpet events. I loved meeting other celebrities – something that I never thought I would ever experience. Also doing lots of traveling in various media outlets and tours. It was quite a ride so I am very grateful for that.

What would you say sets you apart? What sets me apart from others is 100 percent my work ethic. I enjoy working and I love to stay busy. I love to create, and introduce new products under my own personal creation. My mind is always, always going and I just really enjoy hustling! It is something that I am passionate about. I believe in opportunity, I believe in not giving up, and I also believe that no matter how many times you knock on that door and it says no, eventually it will open up. I’m the kind of person that does not get discouraged and I am very determined.

On the topic of men, what was the complete best, and worst first impressions you’ve got on a first date? The best impression was that my first date turned into my husband. He enjoyed having fun, he had style, character and was very talkative. I do not have the worst impression because my first date turned into my last date. I met him at 17 years old and here we are many years later.

What would you say is the most surprising thing about you that not many people know? Many people think I am a very outgoing person and not shy due to my job as a trainer. I am always in the public eye whether it’s teaching big crowds or media outlets. But behind the scenes, I am shy and nervous around people I don’t know. Kind of funny right!

If you had to choose, would you say money and wealth determines success, or is it one’s personal achievements and happiness? It is definitely personal achievements and happiness that determines success. Money does not buy love or happiness. Having personal achievements, goals, love, just overall peace and happiness is all that you need.

On a more personal level and in an ideal world, where do you see yourself in five or ten years; time in terms of family life, career, or both? In 5 or 10 years I see myself possibly opening another Body Construct Fitness and maybe as a franchise. I also would like to bring another baby into the world, let’s see. In addition, I am hoping to become a professional salsa dancer and be able to perform and teach that to others.

Top 3 career highlights? There are so many highlights and it’s so hard for me to pick only 3, so I will have to mention a few extra. I would say being a former celebrity on Bravo TV Game of Crowns is definitely a huge highlight for me. Also, becoming Mrs. Connecticut America and one of the top three WBFF Pros in the world. Another highlight would be gracing two covers of Muscle and Fitness HERS and gracing the cover of FHM June 2021. Additionally, becoming one of the best trainers.

Any final words to our readers on what to expect from you this year? This year, one of the biggest things I am working on is reaching out to more women on helping them to be fit, healthy and beautiful. I do that through personal training, online training and many programs that I offer through my gym at Body Construct Fitness. I also just introduced my newest clothing sportswear line which is super sexy and makes a woman’s booty look Bootylicious. I would like to thank FHM and Dirk Steenekamp for this amazing opportunity, I am so grateful. I also would like to thank the staff that helped put this all together, my photographer DannyKash.com, my sister Andrea Marchese at A.Secret Salon, and my spa at Samara Med Spa for making me look beautiful for my photoshoot for FHM.
