Such an absolute honor to have you on FHM! What are you currently working on? First of all, thank you for the opportunity to be your cover girl! Currently, I’m trying to do what some might think is impossible – to start a successful and lucrative career in the modeling industry at an age that is older than traditional industry standards. I missed out on the opportunity at the ideal age because I was too concerned with pleasing others and bought into a narrative that didn’t serve my true self.

You’re a little bit older, what has your career and life been like so far?  Well, after graduating as valedictorian from my high school, I accepted a congressional appointment to train at the United States Air Force Academy (you know, like Captain Marvel!). When my military career painfully didn’t work out as planned, I opted for a career in public education, but like many others that pour themselves into teaching, I burned out. I attempted to make yet another career change with a second master’s degree, but life threw another curve ball when I became a special needs mom. Now that my son has started school, I’m finally chasing my dreams. It has been a lot of fun so far!

Top moment of your career so far? Making the cover of FHM!

What would you say is your signature look? If you see me out and about, I’ll likely be wearing black leggings, sneakers, an athletic top, and a denim jacket. I’m a mom first so I’ve got to be practical. I do love all things fashion though, and I jump at the chance to express myself in style.

What is the fastest way to get a smile on your face? The fastest way to get a smile on my face is to show me a picture of my son.

What are some of your favorite outdoor activities? I love to walk and hike, be on a beach or on the water. I also love hanging out with friends and family around a bonfire.

3 ultimate deal breakers when it comes to men? Hmm… I guess if I were in the market I would definitely look for good personal hygiene, a strong work ethic, and a man that takes care of himself physically, mentally, and emotionally. I know I didn’t necessarily address deal breakers – I try to put a positive spin on things!

Never have I ever… Been skydiving!

Top 3 myth busters when it comes to models? That’s a great question. I’m just getting started so I really have no idea! Lol. I think most of the stereotypes out there can be busted. Models come from all over the world, from different backgrounds and different levels of education. We’re people with different personalities just like everyone else!

What is the best way to approach you as an admirer? Is it old-fashioned to just say hello and introduce yourself? I know it’s basic, but sometimes I think that’s what we all need to do – get back to the basics!

Where can our readers catch up with you and stay updated with your work? They can catch up with me, and watch my story unfold on Instagram – @andy.sue.

We are so happy to have gotten to know you a little bit! Any last words out there for our readers? I sincerely appreciate all of your support and look forward to seeing you on Instagram soon! I honestly don’t know what direction my story is going to take, but I’m here for it and can’t wait to see what’s next.
